Start advertisingShopping ads are ads for products. Instead of describing a company, a shopping ad shows the product itself, with its picture, name and price, and sends you to the store that sells it. You see them in search results, on comparison sites and inside store apps.
On ShoppingAds, paid placements are labelled Sponsored so you always know what is paid. Sponsored products sit alongside normal results, and every product page lets you compare prices from different stores and see any cash back.
The name "shopping ads" is also used for Google's own product listing ads. ShoppingAds is a separate service: a place to compare prices and earn cash back, and a way for brands to advertise products to shoppers who are already comparing.
For a brand, shopping ads work best when the product page is complete. A clear photo, an accurate price and a working link give a shopper what they need, and give you results you can measure by clicks and sales.

A brand sets a budget and a bid. Per-click campaigns charge when a click happens, and pay-per-sale options charge on tracked sales.
